Born at the Albany Medical Center in Albany New York.

9/12/1966: Outpatient surgery to remove a cyst on Betsy's cheek
The cost for the operating room was $65, and the total bill on the insurance form was just under $4000!

I don't remember which hospital this occurred at.

11/1/1972: Started boarding dogs at our new kennel.
I think we had 13 pens built onto a 2-car garage. The entire family participated in the work to put this building together. Bill worked full-time and worked about the same length of time daily to make this happen.

Rooms b,c & d where added. The rooms where finished and used over the next year(s)?

I moved to Pennsylvania in July to start my new life with Dave Tripp!!

10/5/1994: Florida for Tom's Graudation
A five-day trip to be with Tommy for his graduation from the police academy. I think Karen missed this trip, much to our great regret. I wrote a journal about this, too.

7/31/1995: Wedding - Karen Savoca and David Tripp

On This day Paul Savoca was born

4/23/1997: New York City with Karole
Karole and I took a bus to New York City, and I had such a great time! We walked and walked. Went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

8/13/1997: Mom Goes to Boston with Karole
Karole and I rode the bus to Boston. I don't think I kept a journal. I remember she was the last one to get to the bus and I was scared she wasn't coming at all. It was fun. I still have the sweat shirt I bought there because I was cold.

6/23/1998: Alex Michael Tripp born
At the Paoli Hospital in Paoli Pennsylvania.

7/5/1998: Mom's Visit with Tripps and Savocas
This was shortly after Alex was born.

7/2/1999: Tripp family moved to Reading from Exton
Purchased townhome at 20-3 Cranberry Ridge, Exeter Township

7/23/1999: Mom's Trip to Stone Harbor
I wrote a journal about my trip to Stone Harbor with Mark, Deb, Paul, Deb, Jim, Chris, Chris Hodge and Claudine, Karen, Dave and Alex. It was a week-long event, until Friday the 30th.

9/3/1999: Visit with Karen and Dave, Mark and Family
A journal about a visit with my children and grandchildren.

11/1/1999: Alex in hospital
Alex was hospitalized for two or three days with bronchialitis. Rachel was born while we were in the Reading Hospital.

11/3/1999: Rachel was born
On this day Rachel Savoca was born. She was born at St. Clares Hospital in Denville New Jersey. She's still doing great.

5/24/2000: Sale of Kennel
The sale of the kennel was approximately $187,000, if you multiply the tax by 250, as suggested by the Town of Guilderland.

The buyer was Edward R., Jr., and Sarah T. Ledermann.

I can get a picture of this document too, which is just about impossible to read.

Marvelous trip to Disney World as a retirement gift! Kept a journal, as usual.

6/20/2002: Mom's Visit with Savocas in New Jersey,and Tripps in Pennsylvania
The journal tells of a party for Suzanne and one for Alex, whose birthdays are on the same day, June 23rd; a picnic at Blue Marsah, and then to Dutch Wonderand.

7/9/2003: Mom's Canada Visit
Betsy flew to Canada to visit her step-mother Joan and half-siblings Deborah, Theresa, and Jonathan. A wonderful trip overall.

7/5/2004: Tripp Family moved into New Home
at 5 Nancy Circle, Reading (Exeter Township)
