Betsy was born in New York City, at Sloan-Kettering Hospital, now known as Presbyterian memorial.

10/27/1953: E. David Tripp was born
Born at the Tompkins County Hospital in Ithaca New York.

6/25/1956: James Joseph Raucci, Jr born

4/24/1960: Wedding of Elizabeth van der Goes and William J. Savoca
Betsy and Bill were married in the Grotto on Western Avenue.

11/30/1960: Thomas Jonathan Savoca was born

Born at the Albany Medical Center in Albany New York.

9/12/1966: Outpatient surgery to remove a cyst on Betsy's cheek
The cost for the operating room was $65, and the total bill on the insurance form was just under $4000!

I don't remember which hospital this occurred at.

3/22/1967: Debbie Savoca (Jones) was born
On this day Debbie Savoca (Jones) was born

10/3/1967: Melodie was born

1/28/1968: Mark was born.
On this day Mark was born at Albany Medical center.

11/1/1972: Started boarding dogs at our new kennel.
I think we had 13 pens built onto a 2-car garage. The entire family participated in the work to put this building together. Bill worked full-time and worked about the same length of time daily to make this happen.

1/1/1975: Build additional kennel buildings
Rooms b,c & d where added. The rooms where finished and used over the next year(s)?

The upstairs is divided into a bedroom and hallway.

5/28/1985: Karen Graduated from Sullivan County Community College
AAS in Hotel Managment

6/20/1986: Mark graduates from HS

5/30/1987: James and Deborah wed

10/29/1987: Borrowed Money from Albany Saviings Bank
As you all know, Bill borrowed $70,000 from Albany Savings Bank to pay me for half of the Altamont property.

Born in Syracuse New York.

8/1/1989: William marries Ester

10/14/1989: Mark and Debbie get Married
This was the day Mark and Debbie got married.

12/30/1991: Death of William J Savoca

7/1/1994: Karen moved to PA
I moved to Pennsylvania in July to start my new life with Dave Tripp!!

10/5/1994: Florida for Tom's Graudation
A five-day trip to be with Tommy for his graduation from the police academy. I think Karen missed this trip, much to our great regret. I wrote a journal about this, too.

7/31/1995: Wedding - Karen Savoca and David Tripp
At the 101st St Pavillion in Stone Harbor New Jersey. Reception at the Two Mile Landing Restaurant in Wildwood Crest New Jersey.

8/5/1995: Mom Goes to Stone Harbor for a Week
Journal of my trip to Stone Harbor, New Jersey, for Karen and Dave's Wedding, which occurred on August 31, 1995.

12/17/1995: Chris Raucci gave Deb and Jim breakfast in bed.
Deb called me,all excited. I made a record of this event!

3/7/1997: Paul Savoca was born
On This day Paul Savoca was born

4/23/1997: New York City with Karole
Karole and I took a bus to New York City, and I had such a great time! We walked and walked. Went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

8/13/1997: Mom Goes to Boston with Karole
Karole and I rode the bus to Boston. I don't think I kept a journal. I remember she was the last one to get to the bus and I was scared she wasn't coming at all. It was fun. I still have the sweat shirt I bought there because I was cold.

6/23/1998: Alex Michael Tripp born
At the Paoli Hospital in Paoli Pennsylvania.

7/5/1998: Mom's Visit with Tripps and Savocas
This was shortly after Alex was born.

7/2/1999: Tripp family moved to Reading from Exton
Purchased townhome at 20-3 Cranberry Ridge, Exeter Township

7/23/1999: Mom's Trip to Stone Harbor
I wrote a journal about my trip to Stone Harbor with Mark, Deb, Paul, Deb, Jim, Chris, Chris Hodge and Claudine, Karen, Dave and Alex. It was a week-long event, until Friday the 30th.

9/3/1999: Visit with Karen and Dave, Mark and Family
A journal about a visit with my children and grandchildren.

11/1/1999: Alex in hospital
Alex was hospitalized for two or three days with bronchialitis. Rachel was born while we were in the Reading Hospital.

11/3/1999: Rachel was born
On this day Rachel Savoca was born. She was born at St. Clares Hospital in Denville New Jersey. She's still doing great.

5/24/2000: Sale of Kennel
The sale of the kennel was approximately $187,000, if you multiply the tax by 250, as suggested by the Town of Guilderland.

The buyer was Edward R., Jr., and Sarah T. Ledermann.

I can get a picture of this document too, which is just about impossible to read.

4/23/2001: Disney World
Marvelous trip to Disney World as a retirement gift! Kept a journal, as usual.

6/20/2002: Mom's Visit with Savocas in New Jersey,and Tripps in Pennsylvania
The journal tells of a party for Suzanne and one for Alex, whose birthdays are on the same day, June 23rd; a picnic at Blue Marsah, and then to Dutch Wonderand.

7/9/2003: Mom's Canada Visit
Betsy flew to Canada to visit her step-mother Joan and half-siblings Deborah, Theresa, and Jonathan. A wonderful trip overall.

7/5/2004: Tripp Family moved into New Home
at 5 Nancy Circle, Reading (Exeter Township)

9/4/2005: Tom and Melodie got married

7/6/2006: Sale of Kennel the Second Time
Ed Ledermann sold the kennel for $250,000!
